What UnlockTool can do on the Vivo U3x

• Erase FRP

  Removes the Google account lock (Factory Reset Protection) that appears after a reset.

• Unlock Bootloader

  Unlocks the bootloader.

• Auth Flash

  Flashes firmware on models that normally need an authorised service account.

• Factory Reset

  Wipes user data so the phone starts like new, for a forgotten PIN, pattern or password.

• Wipe EFS

  Clears a corrupted EFS partition (IMEI and network data). Back it up first.

• Backup EFS

  Saves the EFS partition (IMEI and network data) before any repair.

• Restore EFS

  Writes a saved EFS backup back to the phone.

How to remove FRP on the Vivo U3x

1. Install the latest UnlockTool from the download page and the Qualcomm 9008 driver from UnlockTool drivers.
2. Open UnlockTool, sign in with your licensed account and open the Vivo tab.
3. Pick the Vivo U3x by its model number (PD1928).
4. Click Erase FRP, then put the phone in EDL (9008) mode, or the method UnlockTool picks for newer secured models.
5. Wait for the log to say it's done before you unplug, then restart and set the phone up with the owner's own Google account.
