UnlockTool runs on Windows only (Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11). There is no official Android APK, Mac or Linux version. The phone you are repairing connects to a Windows PC by USB. "UnlockTool APK" files on APKPure, Uptodown or Telegram are not official.

Why there is no UnlockTool APK

UnlockTool talks to phones at a low level (BROM, EDL and download modes) through USB drivers that only exist on Windows. An Android app cannot do that to another phone, so APKs using the UnlockTool name are fake and often carry malware.

UnlockTool on Mac or Linux

There is no native version. Use a Windows PC or laptop. Virtual machines are not recommended: USB passthrough drops connections, and a dropped connection during a flash can brick the phone.
