How to renew UnlockTool

A renewal adds time to an account that already has activation history. You keep your username, settings and history, and there's nothing to reinstall.

Before you start

Renewal is the right choice if the account has ever held a license. It can be running, about to expire, or expired a long time ago. Not sure? Read new activation vs renewal first. Ordering the wrong variant is the number one reason an order waits instead of activating.

1. Note your current expiry date

Log in to your UnlockTool account and write down the expiry date shown on your account. You will use it at the end to confirm the renewal landed. Don't worry if it's already expired. Expired accounts still renew.

2. Pick a length

3 months (90 days), 6 months (180 days) or 12 months (360 days). A renewal costs exactly the same as a new activation of the same length; the year plan has the lowest price per day. Compare them on the pricing page.

3. Order the renewal variant

• Make sure the product says Renewal, not New Activation.
• Copy your username and account email from your UnlockTool account and paste both into the order. One wrong character sends the order to manual review.

4. Wait 1–6 hours

The extension is applied on the server, directly to your account. If your current license is still running, just keep working. Nothing gets interrupted.

5. Confirm the new date

Close UnlockTool fully, open it and log in. The new expiry should show. If it still shows the old one, log out and back in once more, because the client caches license state.

Renewal not showing after 6 hours?

• Did the payment complete? Unpaid orders never enter the queue.
• Are the username and email exactly right, character for character?
• Did you order Renewal (not New Activation)?
• Still stuck? Send us your order number. Unprocessed orders can be corrected without paying again.
