How to activate UnlockTool
From zero to your first job: register, pick the right variant, order, and log in.
UnlockTool licenses belong to an account, not a box or a dongle. Get the account right and the rest is simple.
1. Register first
Create a free account on UnlockTool.net, log in once to make sure it works, and keep the exact username somewhere you can copy it from. The license is applied to that username, so it has to exist before you order.
2. New activation or renewal?
- New activation: the account has never had a license.
- Renewal: the account has had one before, even if it expired long ago.
The price is the same; only the server process differs. The picker on the pricing page walks you through it.
3. Choose a duration
You can pick 3 months (90 days), 6 months (180 days) or 12 months (360 days). Every plan unlocks the same features. Busy workshops usually pick the year for the lowest daily cost.
4. Order with your username and email
Paste your UnlockTool username and the email on that account into the order form. Both are required for new activations and renewals. We never need your password. If anyone asks for it, stop.
5. Wait for delivery
Most activations land within 1–6 hours. The tool does not even need to be installed while you wait.
6. Install and log in
Get the setup from the download page, verify it, run it as administrator and log in. Your license and its expiry date appear on the dashboard.
Why activations get delayed
- A typo in the username. Paste it, don't type it.
- The wrong variant: a renewal on a brand-new account, or the other way round.
- Email on the account never confirmed.
- Outdated or repacked client that cannot authenticate.
