Dongle and box tools vs account tools
Box and dongle tools (for example UMT, Pandora or Hydra, depending on edition) tie the license to hardware you must buy and keep. Account tools such as UnlockTool, Chimera or Cheetah tie it to a login. Account tools are cheaper to start with and easier to use on several benches; hardware tools can work offline for some functions. Many shops keep two tools for coverage.
